Special Ask from the Orisha House Project ⛑️

Hello family!

As you may have seen in the news, Cuba has gone through an island-wide blackout the past few days. While in the US we may romanticize this as a time to get out the candles and connect with loved ones, in Cuba it means food spoiling, no water to bathe, and no work.

The 16 members of the Orisha House Project based in Havana are keeping their spirits up as they move through this crisis. And they also depend on the project for the sustainable income they'll need as they seek to refill their fridges for their families.

Imagine if the incredible artists you met were in your city this week, would you take them out for dinner and drinks? Think about what you might spend on a night on the town...and consider donating today.

Contributions can be sent via Venmo to @Morgan-Simon who will ensure safe transfer to Cuba, or Zelle at 310.617.8881. A portion of the proceeds will also go to the church of our friend and amazing artist Adonis Bloomfield.

If you need a non-profit receipt, or your employer has a matching program for charitable donations, please reach out to Morgan at [email protected] before contributing who can provide further information.

Thank you for being you!
